Melissah Morris-Adkins is a senior and has been a staff member of The Northern Light for 2 ½ years now. “I joined the Northern Light staff because I've always loved writing and I wanted to showcase my work,” she explains. She is happy to be working with a group of people who help her develop her writing skills while learning more about the things she likes to write about. “There are a lot of things that motivates me to write but when it comes to the NL staff it is getting the news out there for my peers to read and be informed with what is going on within our school and community,” she shares. “What I look forward to my last year on staff is just making memories with everyone on staff, even if it is weird right now.”
