Maya Daniels is a senior and this is her second year on the Northern Light staff. “I had done some journalism work before,” she shares, “but I really wanted to get better and work on my writing.” She decided to join the class as a way to improve and challenge her skills and soon gained interest in writing both entertainment and opinion pieces. Daniels has become the opinion editor and always enjoys reading the stories her fellow reporters write.
