The Northern Light

Arushi Mithal
Arushi Mithal is a senior this year at Portage Northern. She decided to join journalism because she thought it would be a great opportunity to help with social anxiety. “When I was a freshman, I was always scared of talking to people,” she says. This is Mithal’s fourth year in journalism and she is happy to be the feature editor in the school newspaper. Aside from the paper, she likes to do taekwondo, Link Crew, and Science Olympiad.
