Morgan Brooks is a junior doing her second year of journalism. “I took journalism because writing is one of my biggest passions. I enjoy being able to sit down, get onto a computer or grab a pencil, and just start writing a story,” she says. Her favorite thing about the class is how close everyone is. “We're like a big family and we can talk about anything with anyone there.” Writing is a huge passion for Brooks: “I love writing about people. Learning their stories and being able to share them is so cool to me,” she shares. She’s excited to meet and get to know all the newest members to the staff.
