H&M Review

On July 26, 2018, an H&M opened at Crossroads Mall. H&M is a Swedish clothing-retail company that prides itself on offering a wide variety of clothing styles, from casual to formal, that appeal to a diverse collection of consumers, all at affordable prices.

The new location is exactly what you’d expect from an H&M. The bright, cool lighting and clean, white interior create a stylish environment, drawing your eyes to the colorful clothing displayed throughout. The vibe is similar to that of an art museum, where the paintings and sculptures are replaced by t-shirts and jeans.

Although the layout of the store greatly contributes to the experience it creates, few things dictate the allure for a location as much as the people who work there. Many businesses fall victim to the curse of inattentive employees, who kill the welcoming environment they try to shape. H&M successfully avoids this predicament. The staff are friendly, but not overly so,  making the store feel comfortable without invading your personal space.

The H&M at Crossroads Mall deserves five stars out of five. I have enjoyed my shopping experience there every single time, and would recommend it to anyone who appreciates the value of hardworking employees blended with artistic interior design.
