The girls golf team is playing today in the regional tournament in Coldwater, MI. While the team’s hopes to make it to the State tournament are slim, this is a young team hoping to gain valuable experience for the years to come.

“We’re hoping to play our best. Our team best right now is 429. I’m hoping we can improve on that,” says coach Bob Eustice.

While it isn’t likely the team as a whole will move on, Eustace is hopeful for an individual member of the squad to make an appearance at the Oct 19-20 state tournament at Michigan State University.

“Last year, I took seniors Erin Sexsmith and Grace Beam, and they both finished in the top 3 to move on to the state finals. This year I’m hoping Annie Betts will play well enough to get out of regionals and go to the state finals,” says Eustice.
