Secret Santa Gifts

Demi Jensen, Staff Writer

‘Tis the season of having no idea what to do when it comes to secret Santa gifts. Whether it be friends or classmates, the decision can often be difficult. The Northern Light is here to make this season a little less stressful.

Fuzzy socks are always a go-to. They make for a super cozy and affordable gift!

Portable chargers come in handy, especially when there are no available outlets in class. You can find these useful little devices almost anywhere, they and are super cheap at places such as Five Below, Walgreens, and Walmart.

For those who are crafty, a Christmas Treat Bag would be a good idea. It’s super simple, yet creative and thoughtful. Simply throw some festive candy into a small decorative bag and you’re good to go.

Coffee cups are so festive and universal, as almost everyone drinks coffee. You could also DIY a coffee cup using sharpies, a white mug, and your oven.

For those who don’t drink coffee, a hot chocolate kit could be an alternative. Just gather up some marshmallows and hot chocolate and arrange the contents in a festive mug.

Obviously, gift cards are always an option. The person you are buying for will definitely appreciate it. Even little amounts could help someone out. Some of the most popular gift cards are iTunes, Starbucks, or the Mall.

For all of the candle addicts, there’s nothing better than Christmas-y scented candles. Target always has affordable candles that smell like Christmas heaven.
