With many faiths celebrating winter holidays, the season means a lot to some while to others winter break is just two weeks off school with a day in the middle filled with good food. For many PN students, the Christmas tree is the center of their holiday traditions. The Senate even included a holiday decoration contest with Buddy the Elf’s Tree Tour on Wednesday.

“Putting up our tree is kind of a big thing to us. It means a lot because we love Christmas,” shares senior Andrew Wright.

Many students don’t stop with just the tree.

“I usually put up decorations around the beginning of November. I decorate my room, the living room, and outside with lights and reindeer,” says junior Jasmine Crump.
