Tik Tok is one of the most popular apps of the year. It has also become the music industry’s new fame machine. This apps gives so many influencers, as well as newcomers, a platform to be creative and make content they love. It also gives many artists exposure. Tiktokers use songs that artists make as a sound for their videos. Users usually dance, act or sing to the music. If someone wanted their music to be heard, this is an app that will do it.

Some of the most well-known artists today got their fame started on Tik Tok. Lil Nas X is one of those artists. With his hit song ‘Old Town Road’, the rapper set a world record with being on the Billboard Hot 100 for 17 weeks in a row. The memes of the song started to take over the app in July of 2019. Many of Yung Gracy’s songs have also been popularized by Tik Tok, including ‘Cheryl’, ‘Mr. Clean’, ‘Gravy Train’, and ‘Magic’.

A numerous amount of artists get their music on this app as well. Artists like Drake, Tyler, The Creator, Juice Wrld, Clairo, and countless others had their music exposed on Tik Tok.

This has led to a large number of influencers have started to come out with music. This includes Baby Ariel, Loren Gray, Audrey Mika and many more. Mxmtoon, also known as Maia started her music career after about a year on Tik Tok, where her hit songs “Falling For You”, “Feelings are Fatal”, and “Prom Dress” were all featured.

From teenagers to adults, Tik Tok is creating and supporting the fame of its users. As long as the fans continue to support the artists coming from Tik Tok, this trend is likely to continue into the future.
