UPDATE: PNHS senate plans walkout
March 14, 2018
The PN Senate will lead interested students in the National Walkout for school safety today, March 14. Students will leave class at 9:57 and meet in the bus loop at 10:00 am. They will remain outside for 17 minutes to honor the 17 individuals killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14, 2018. Both students who choose to walk out and students who choose to remain inside will be supervised by teachers, and at the conclusion of the seventeen minutes, students will be expected to return in a timely manner to class and continue their day as usual.

As a student senator from the class of 1974, I salute your stand and your ability to work with the school administration to deal constructively with the walkout. If you will be 18 by the November midterms, be certain to register to vote, and more importantly show up to cast your ballot this fall.
