This February I had the privilege of traveling to Japan! This trip was centered around one unforgettable moment: my mother crossing the Tokyo Marathon finish line. In the marathon world, every runner strives to complete the six World Marathon Majors: the London, Chicago, New York, Boston, Berlin, and Tokyo marathon. Watching my mother complete this lifelong goal was truly inspiring. During this once in a lifetime trip, I visited countless landmarks, monuments, and historic sites while learning about Japan’s rich culture. One of my favorite parts about traveling is immersing myself in new environments and gaining a deeper understanding of the world. Through these photos, I invite you to join me along this unforgettable journey from Kyoto to Tokyo.
