“I feel like journalism is going to be a class that I feel like won’t waste my time,” said sophomore Ryan McCune. McCune is on the Northern Light staff for his first year and is ready to give a voice to the people. He shared that he is excited to try his hand at writing opinion pieces and would love to try photography. McCune is no stranger to the journalism world as he would like to be a news anchor when he grows up.  When asked why he would like to do journalism, McCune said, “I feel like a lot of the students are afraid to voice their opinions and I would like to be able to be the one to give them a voice.”
