Oh hi! My name is Ana Van Dyke. I am a sophomore, this is my second year on staff, and I will be the website editor this year! I love writing and am currently writing a book. When I’m not writing, I will most likely be hanging out with my friends, reading a book, listening and singing along to music, mostly Taylor Swift, playing video games, watching TV shows(current faves are TSITP, Ahsoka, and Percy Jackson), or rehearsing for my next musical.

With peers surrounding them, junior Riya Bhatt and sophomore Madeleine Duhn led the walkout on Friday, carrying protest signs instead of backpacks. One sign reads “Call your lawmakers” while the other states “Back to school ≠ back to shooting,” echoing students' demand for legislative action against gun violence.
