MVP of the Month: Daryn Snow
February 13, 2014
“I just grew up with [basketball] and started playing right when I could. I realized I liked it so I stuck with it,” Daryn Snow (10) said. Who knew that one choice as a little kid could make such an impact on Portage Northern Men’s Basketball Team. Last year as a freshman, Snow dominated on the junior varsity team. This year, he not only starts on Varsity, but also is their most consistent scorer, averaging about 13 points per game. Snow has high goals for his high school career and hopes to make it to states during one of his years at Northern. Although Snow is a great basketball player, he also excels at football. In the fall, he was on the varsity team and was named All-Conference at the end of the season. This tremendous athlete continues to play a big role for PN’s sports. He has made a name for himself, and despite the fact that he is only a sophomore; he plays a big part in the success of his team.
