Gavin Garner is a senior at Portage Northern and has just joined the Northern Light staff. His reasoning for joining journalism was to be able to follow his interest in graphic design. Previously, he had done some personal projects on Pixlr and wanted to continue to grow his skills as well as sooth his creativity. As the class continues, he has learned that he has a liking for the reporting side of the staff and hopes to grow with that as well.
